Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & Confirmation

 

1.1. All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once we have received written confirmation (email or message) and, where applicable, a deposit.

1.2. We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion.

1.3. Any changes to the booking must be agreed in writing.

 

2. Minimum Numbers

 

2.1. A minimum number of guests may apply depending on the service type (e.g. meal delivery, private catering, BBQ).

2.2. If guest numbers fall below the stated minimum, we reserve the right to:

  • Charge for the minimum number, or

  • Apply an additional delivery, logistics, or service fee.

 

3. Pricing & Payment

 

3.1. All prices are quoted in euros (€) unless otherwise stated.

3.2. Prices are based on the information provided at the time of quotation, including guest numbers, menu, location, and service requirements.

3.3. A deposit may be required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due prior to or on the day of service, as agreed.

3.4. Late payments may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.

 

4. Cancellations & Refunds

 

4.1. Cancellation by the Client:

  • More than 14 days before the service: deposit refunded minus any non-recoverable costs.

  • 7–14 days before the service: deposit retained.

  • Less than 7 days before the service: full balance may be payable.

4.2. Cancellation by Dining Direct: In the unlikely event that we must cancel due to illness, force majeure, or circumstances beyond our control, we will refund all monies paid. Liability is limited to the amount paid.

 

5. Changes to Guest Numbers

 

5.1. Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 72 hours before the event unless otherwise agreed.

5.2. Reductions after this point will still be charged at the confirmed number.

5.3. Increases may be accommodated subject to availability and additional cost.

6. Availability

6.1. All menus are indicative and subject to change based on seasonal availability, market supply, and the creative discretion (or whims) of the chef.

6.2. We reserve the right to substitute ingredients or adjust dishes where necessary, while maintaining the overall style, quality, and value of the agreed menu.

6.3. Significant menu changes will only be made where unavoidable and will not materially reduce the standard of the service provided.

 

7. Dietary Requirements & Allergies

 

6.1. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies when notified in advance.

6.2. While we take food safety seriously, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

6.3. You are responsible for ensuring all dietary information provided is accurate and complete.

 

8. Food Safety & Leftovers

 

7.1. All food is prepared in accordance with applicable French food hygiene regulations.

7.2. Responsibility for food safety transfers to the client once food has been delivered or served.

7.3. We are not responsible for any issues arising from improper storage or reheating by the client.

 

9. Access, Facilities & Equipment

 

8.1. You must ensure reasonable access to the venue, kitchen facilities, electricity, and water where required.

8.2. We are not responsible for delays or reduced service caused by inadequate facilities or restricted access.

 

10. Damage & Liability

 

9.1. We will take reasonable care when working in your property or venue.

9.2. Any damage caused by us due to negligence will be rectified or compensated at our discretion.

9.3. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment or business.

 

11. Force Majeure

 

We shall not be liable for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, transport disruption, illness, or government restrictions.

 

12. Photography & Marketing

 

11.1. We may take photographs of food or events for marketing purposes.

11.2. No identifiable images of clients or guests will be used without prior consent.

 

13. Complaints

 

12.1. Any complaints must be raised within 24 hours of the service.

12.2. We will endeavour to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.

 

14. Governing Law

 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the French courts.

 

15. Acceptance

 

By confirming a booking or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
